tilde: Melbourne Trans & Gender Diverse Film Festival is seeking submissions for our first international festival in November 2014. Running in partnership with Sydney Transgender International Film Festival, tilde will be Melbourne’s first international film festival created to showcase the work of trans and gender diverse filmmakers as well as films containing trans and gender diverse content. Stories from and about trans and gender diverse people have historically been marginalised, silenced or distorted. We want to take an active part in countering this, and believe film is a pretty spectacular vehicle for doing so!

tilde is looking for short and feature length entries of all genres from across the globe. Films will be selected in line with our values. Priority will be given to films made within the last two years; however tilde is open to receiving films with earlier dates of production.
