This show is a bit of a shout out to Les & The Unpaved Sessions, who did a great job running a weekly round with six acts a night at the Old Bar over 2013 and early 2014. Also to the crew at Melting Pot who are still running a monthly night at Wesley Anne with two sets of three acts, playing in the round. It's a great format, and this will be a cracking show with six brilliant singer/songwriters.

Al Parkinson has just released her new single Like This with one of the most charming, beautiful videos we have seen (see it HERE). She will be joined by Isaac De Heer  (video below) who is a recent discovery and a new favourite, as well as Steven Clifford from the band The Hello Morning. The second set of the night will feature the somewhat mysterious and brilliant Tobias Hengeveld, alongside WA native turned Melbourne country/folk chanteuse Brooke Russell and Bill Jackson. We heard Bill for the first time at the Unpaved Sessions earlier in the year and he's up there with Paul Kelly. Three songwriters that deserve more spotlight so we are glad to let it shine down on them.
