Neatly Folded Goat is a little-known Scottish euphemism for an accordion. It’s also the name of a band based in Melbourne. The Goats play psycho-diddley, punk-shanty folk rock, with lyrics that range from elliptical allegories to tales of suburban life. Their passionate and animated performances wrap the listener in stories of subterranean mysteries, trouble on trains, life in the outback, and of course  - love and loss.

They have played at festivals including Apollo Bay, Anglesea, Warrandyte, Mount Beauty & Maldon. In 2011 they won the Best Street Performer Award at the Apollo Bay Music Festival and recorded an EP in the same year.

They are soon to launch their debut album made with renowned producer Cam McKenzie (Mark Seymour & the Undertow).
