Hugo Race, multi-instrumentalist, founder of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and hypnotic crooner, returns from an intense wave of European solo headline concerts to set forth across Australia in support of his latest Hugo Race Fatalists EP Orphans. The six city tour will include dates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart and Launceston.

Driven, passionate and charismatic, Hugo Race delivers a unique take on experimental blues, folk and dark-edge, dragging inspiration from artists the likes of Neil Young, Velvet Underground and Wilco. Hugo Race Fatalists is the collaboration between Race and Italian instrumental gurus, Sacri Cuori creating ground-breaking, intense sonic soundscapes that merge folk, experimentalism, electronica and rock – compelling and hypnotic listening. Breaking cultural barriers, Hugo Race is the driving force behind the partnership with the self described romantic villains, Sacri Cuori.

Complete with a freshly released self titled EP (Orphans), via Rough Velvet Records, Orphans is the third release from the Fatalists, following up from last year’s release We Never Had Control and Fatalists (self titled) in 2011 and is available on iTunes now. The title track music video below features Hugo Race and Alannah Hill in the dreamy landscapes of Tasmania

The upcoming tour will take Hugo Race's solo show, honed in the clubs of Europe, on tour throughout Australia.

DOORS OPEN @ 8.00PM
