The Freeplay Independent Games Festival celebrates the art and culture of making independent games. Now in its ninth year, we present the fourth annual Freeplay Awards, showcasing the best local games design, sound, visuals, narrative, technical innovation and more - including a people's choice award chosen by visitors to the Freeplay Arcade at the State Library of Victoria!

Hosted by comedian Dave Callan (JJJ, Good Game), with music from existential jazz detective Adam Rudegeair (Game of Themes), the Freeplay Awards are a great way to discover some of the best Australian indie games.
