Book Launch: Moron to Moron by Tom Doig

After bloody ages in the making, Tom Doig's first-ever book is about to be published by Allen & Unwin.

It's a travel book; it's called Mörön to Mörön; its subtitle is "two men, two bikes, one Mongolian misadventure". It has been described, only partially facetiously, as "a classic of Mongolian cycling literature".

The launch of Mörön to Mörön will feature some short speeches (including a launching one by the disturbingly humourous David Woods), shorter video clips, and Tom looking a bit overwrought and otherwise beside himself with relief.

INTERNATIONAL GUESTS include Moron #1 Tama Pugsley, and Tom's mum and dad.

Standard book-launch activities will be followed by a race to drink the bar-tab dry while dancing up a dust-storm to early 80s prog rock classics and bangin' Mongol pop, courtesy of DJ extraordinaire Sean M Whelan.
