Occupations is an interactive political performance that takes place in a hybrid live/video game space.

Occupations engages with police responses to urban protests through a pair of interactive performance scenarios, one from the police perspective, one from the protestor perspective. Through the video game interface, audience members are invited to intervene in the performance’s action, enacting their own solutions to the complex problems surrounding urban protests.

A 20-minute discussion will follow the performance, and audience members will also be asked to fill out a questionnaire.
