Children of the Wave launch their long awaited second album The Electric Sounds of Far Away Choirs.  

Following the release of their debut album Carapace in August 2008, Children of the Wave slowly developed one of the most engaging live sets around and performed with the likes of Love Connection, Rat vs Possum, The Ancients and NO ZU.

With the pair playing fully robed in order to enter the required mental state, Mark plays everything from Portuguese field recordings to assorted Balinese children’s toys while Dan sings through an old CB radio mic while doing his best to turn an acoustic guitar into a four piece drum kit. 

Described by UK media as ‘the precision of the seasoned professional with the joie-de-vivre of the eternal amateur’ Children of the Wave are something entirely unique and, with special guests on the night, ensure a truly memorable live music experience.

The launch will be supported by The Sun Blindness and Tim Catlin.
