Melbourne Songwriters Showcase and Facebook's Muso's Unite, are running a benefit concert for Swags for Homeless - providing Backpack Beds to Australia’s street sleeping homeless.
The event will be filled with live music and includes a band and solo acoustic acts capable of entertaining the masses! Come along and show your support for this award winning initiative.
Swags for Homeless is a national not-for-profit charity, winner of the 2011 Australian Human Rights award for Best Community Organisation - Australia's highest honour.
Swags for Homeless partners with 180+ homeless organizations across Australia to distribute Backpack Beds to homeless turned away from shelter. Backpack Beds are waterproof lightweight emergency relief beds that save lives. For more information CLICK HERE.

Artists performing include:
Alex Legg - Scottish-born, award-winning songwriter Alex Legg is unique. A consummate performer, Alex Legg's percussive guitar, stomping groove, and gritty vocals deliver a powerful performance. Close your eyes and you'll believe a whole band is on stage.
Chris Nicola - Blues style guitarist, this musician and father of 3 is sure to be a crowd pleaser with his unique styles inspired by a mix of Gospel, Blues and Rock.
Twyce Daily - Wales born singer songwriter is sure to impress. Twyce was given his first guitar by an old Gypsy in Wales and the rest is history. South Australian Country Song Of the Year Winner 2008
Mark Gardner Band - consists of Mark Gardner who is a seasoned singer/ songwriter & recent 2012 Music Oz finalist. Recently performed at The Basin Music Festival. Simon Hawker seasoned guitarist plays slide / lead guitar, Robert Broomhead on bass & Adam Edwards on drums. Currently No.3 on the Country Vic Reverbnation chart & 3 on Aust Reverbnation chart.
