You probably best know Samuel Johnson for his role in The Secret Life Of Us.

But not Catherine Deveny! It was his amazing life revealed in Australian Story that fascinated her. Samuel's mum committed suicide when he was young, his sister was diagnosed with cancer aged 11, he was supporting his family with his acting while at secondary school, he shot to fame, fell in love, lost his partner to suicide and has had a wild ride of depression and loss and triumph.

Fast forward to the place where he is now - in love, running acting workshops and about to ride around Australia on a unicycle to raise money for the three charities that have most helped his sister Connie with her battle with breast cancer.

Join us to discuss fame, shame, expectations, depression, redemption, love, manhood, grief and how life is a bit 'I can't wait to see how this movie ends.'  There will be a Q&A following.
