During my many years of musical meetings, as a producer, arranger and musician, I too often met instrumentalists “blocked” in their creativity, victims of their education,  wrong ideas, their certainty, their lack of confidence in themselves, etc. Music is far from being only a story of styles, instruments, instrumental techniques or even of notes. It is a little of that and nothing of that at the same time.This workshop is an ideas laboratory, a musical brainstorming ... Let’s find the other musician inside you!

With his roots in jazz and metal, Lionel is currently the assistant of cult minimalist composer Charlemagne Palestine and the creator of the prestigious Paris Uke Fest. On a quest to search for and explore ‘new ukulele sounds, U.K.E. - in which Lionel is joined by percussionist Josh - uses electronic real-time treatment to expand the instrument into new and uncharted experimental territories.
