Move beyond the hum n'strum with this workshop aimed at uke group leaders, uke players who like to arrange (big and small groups), and anybody who wants to learn about arrangements that can better engage and extend audiences and players of all abilities. We will learn and arrange one contemporary song to highlight the simplicity and intricacies of ukestra arrangements.

Mark led the Ukastle Ukestra to win the coveted (and rather expensive) 'Golden Ukulele' at MUF 2011. He is a community musician in Newcastle NSW where he teaches and organises up to 8 ukestras each week, engaging children of all ages in the wonders of the ukulele and making music together.
