Artist Bio

Lisa Nightingale’s adventure into the Melbourne Cabaret Scene began in 2009 when she decided that her training in Classical Music just wasn’t hitting the mark. She had obtained her Bachelor of Music from The Melba Conservatorium of Music, and also studied Music Theatre at the VCA, yet she had a feeling that there had to be something else to help contain her over active mind.

Stumbling across Kim Edwards’ How to write a Solo Cabaret course; she has now unleashed her passion for eclectic and intimate performances. Her solo Cabaret show Ana-Lucia and The Baron – episode one has been a hit with Melbourne crowds, calling now on a 3rd season to be performed this September. Episode 2 is almost completed, and will be certainly hitting the stage later this year – so get on the episode one band wagon now while you can!!
