Daniel Burt and Aleisha McCormack met as writers on The 7PM Project. They wrote a lot of news jokes, drank instant coffee and had water cooler conversations about water. Then they quit. 

Together, Daniel and Aleisha present He Says/She Says. 60 minutes of their words, spoken by them.

Aleisha tackles repressed memories of school billeting and struggles to decipher her grandfather’s cryptic Christmas letters. Daniel was born an accident and has been apologising ever since. 

Among a host of achievements, Daniel has written for The Glass House, The Einstein Factor, is a columnist for The Age and interned in the Writing Department of the Late Show with David Letterman.

Aleisha McCormack is known to television audiences throughout Australia, as the regular roving reporter on Channel Ten’s The Circle.

Artists Bio

Daniel Burt
Daniel Burt is a comedian, actor and writer whose credits and incredible talent are unique in Australia. Daniel has written for The Glass House, The Einstein Factor and interned in the Writing Department of the Late Show with David Letterman. Daniel wrote for Skithouse at age 18, presented on Sunday Arts on ABC1 and was writer and Melbourne correspondent on The 7PM Project. At the 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Daniel performed a sell-out season of his debut show Yes Man Syndrome, which is set to be turned into a book. Daniel is a TV columnist for The Age, plays ‘Dan’ in the ABC2 comedy series Girl Friday and writes daily radio material for Steve Vizard.

Aleisha McCormack
Aleisha is known to television audiences throughout Australia as the regular roving reporter and co-host on Channel Ten’s The Circle. Throughout 2009 and 2010, Aleisha was a regular cast member of The 7PM Project, and writer for the program’s co-hosts Charlie Pickering and Carrie Bickmore. In 2009 Aleisha made her Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut in Dead to Me, performed at the Old Magistrates Court. Aleisha was a presenter for ABC TV’s Second Opinion and an regular on Charles Wooley’s National Radio program. She has worked as a writer for Glenn Robbins TV program Out of the Question and Rove. In 2007 Aleisha was a national finalist of the Stand Up comedy competition, Raw Comedy.
