Hosted by Anna Go-Go and featuring the incredible Casey Bennetto and band, soul sensation Talei Wolfgramm and all your favourite dance floor hits from DJ Haggis!

Aaaah the 90s.  A time when bike pants were worn for more than just riding bikes, when Moby wasn’t a dick, it was perfectly acceptable to walk the streets in shiny tracksuits and crop tops and Brit Pop had nothing at all to do with Lily Allen.

Girls aspired to be like supermodels Elle Macpherson and Christy Turlington, boys took their style cues from Luke Perry and Jason Priestley and Winona Ryder was more famous for Reality Bites than shoplifting. MC Hammer challenged Michael Jackson to a dance off (we all know who won that one), Mariah was the blackest singer we knew and Nirvana wasn’t just a place of spiritual enlightenment.

It was a time when we hated Jeff Kennett, Bono didn’t yet believe he was the Messiah, we weren’t scared of Madonna, Toady had an undercut, JT was just the nerdy one from 'N Sync, the Red Hot Chili Peppers were tasty and nobody thought Robbie Williams would ever make it when he left Take That. We were disappointed when David Caruso left NYPD Blue, Prince was the artist formerly known as, 3D magic eye pictures were hung on our walls and body piercing was the latest craze.

Alcopops were new and delicious (remember Lemon Ruski and SubZeros?), Illusion shakers cost just $15 and we went to rave parties in our platform trainers, baggiest jeans and bodysuits, armed only with chupa chups and raspberry cordial.

Yep - we’re gonna party like it really is 1999 and there will be prizes for best-dressed 90s style so dig out your funkiest gear!
