This State Election night, Bella Union will be opening at 5.30PM and broadcasting the election count broadcast in Bella-vision.

Regardless of the poll results, Bart Willoughby and Friends are ready to take you on a great musical journey that will help you celebrate (or commiserate).

Kicking off in his laid back style, James Henry will be sharing his quirky take on life love and his crowd favourite Mosquitos. James will also be providing his thoughts on the evening's political climate without fear of favour; his approach to unsavoury subjects will leave you laughing and tapping your feet at the same time.

Primed and raring to dance, the Bart Willoughby Big Band will then take to the stage.  With special guest appearances by various artists including Kurdish musician Fadil Suna on the Oud, they'll be bringing you a blend of ancient middle eastern and aboriginal rhythms and contemporary Reggae /Rock sounds.

The Bart Willoughby Big Band is an eclectic mix of musical elder statesmen, Bart Willoughby and Selwyn Burns long time collaborators on iconic indigenous bands No Fixed, Mixed Relations and Coloured Stone and guitar legend of Daddy Cool Fame, Ross Hannaford. Selwyn’s son Young warrior Tjimba is happy to give up the hip /hop for the night to play bass in the band

Producer and drummer Airi Ingram, a master of pacific beats, brings a line up of equally talented, diversely experienced, reggae, funk, jazz and world music performers. Nui Moon on percussion, Dustin Mclean on Keyboards, the horn section Phil Bywater Sax, Mal Webb Trombone, and Paul Coyle on Trumpet
