SPEAKING OUT AGAINST RACISM
The ROCK AGAINST RACISM event will be a revival and showcase of Aboriginal popular, contemporary music bands maintaining the tradition of speaking out against racism and it’s negative impacts on lives and community through music, song and lyrics.
Aboriginal Bands, solo singing performers and comedians in combined magnificent soul wrenching performances of music presentation and performing arts.

This revival event is intended to build unity and strength within the Aboriginal community and capacity builds linkages with Aboriginal and other Civil and Human Rights people networks across Melbourne and the Trade Union Movement which has an 80 year history of support and struggle.
The ROCK AGAINST RACISM event coincides with the National NAIDOC Program which has it’s focus in Victoria and commences July 4 – 11, 2010. Victoria will host the National NAIDOC Committee and focus on a range of activities with both a Victorian and National focus.
