Zenith and Reel Good, two Melbourne based film platforms, are coming together for a special evening to showcase the six best films from their libraries.

Zenith, a new online VOD platform of short films, is collaborating with Reel Good, host of the hugely popular Reel Good Film Festival at School House Studios, to create an evening of entertaining and thought provoking short films.

The night’s program will include four films from Zenith including Tribeca winning comedy One Year Lease & Sundance stand out Hotel 22. Reel Good is programming three shorts from local Australian filmmakers including Palm Springs winner We Keep on Dancing and the coming-of-age drama Crush.   

 1. We Keep on Dancing / Jessica Barclay Lawton
Palm Springs Winner / Two distinctly disparate characters come together over a broken down Volkswagen Beetle in this sweet, amusing tale of love, loss and... car trouble.

2. If I can’t dance at your revolution I’m not coming / Jan Kobal
Three years after the Ukrainian Maidan revolution, Ukraine’s sovereignty still remains under threat from Russia. However through a growing rave and contemporary art scene, the youth of Kiev are taking back control of their futures.

3. One Year Lease / Brian Bolster
Tribeca Winner / Brian, Thomas and cat Casper (the ghost) move into an apartment in NYC with an overbearing, eccentric landlord who literally won't stop calling them.

4. Double Patty / Tavis Urquhart and Alexander Moore
Australian Drama / Two estranged brothers meet for the first time in over 30 years and catch up on lost time over a burger.

5. A place I’ve never been / Adrian Flury
Experimental Film / Thousands of happy snaps have been collaged into a hypnotic journey of people watching at the Acropolis, Athens.

6. Hotel 22 / Elizabeth Lo
Sundance / Every night, people from all walks of life catch the "Hotel 22" from San Fran to Palo Alto.

7. Crush / Lara Kose
Coming-of-age Drama / Anelise, a 16-year-old girl whose best friends are missing and wanted for murder.
