Our very special keynote speaker, writer and appearance activist Carly Findlay, will launch us into Odyssey: line by line for 2017 with inspired words on our theme: where we are going.

Session 1: Letters to My Emerging Self

If you could jump in your DeLorean and go back in time, what would you tell your emerging writer self? What advice would you give? Would you shout a warning? Or send encouragement? What would you change? Or would you do everything the same, because all those rejection letters, overlooked competitions and repeated grammar mistakes made you who you are today?
 
Letters to My Emerging Self  will showcase established creatives as they address a letter to the inexperienced writers they once were, sharing their insights and passion with us, and then continue in conversation.

Our guests will be Yannick Thoraval, Mark Brandi, Jennifer Down, Fiona Scott-Norman and Sian Prior.
