Having worked with a who’s who of local and international blues and folk musicians Tim Neal is one of Victoria’s most influential collaborators, producers and musicians. 

Over the last three years he has worked with Brendan FitzGerald to develop music for the songs that make up World of Men,  Brendan’s play about a man who abducts his children with a plan to drive to Queensland. 

These songs will be performed by an all-star band - Wayne Jury, Sarah Carroll and Tim Neal as well as a number of special guests. 

Proceeds from the gig will support performances of the whole play in September

About World of Men

World Of Men is a musical by Brendan FitzGerald and Tim Neal that asks the hardest question about men’s violence against women and their children:

‘Who makes the dark places where men CHOOSE to hurt their families?’ 

It follows a man as he travels with his two abducted children towards this dark place and asks how Australian society provides the circumstances where violence against women and their children can occur  … and what Australian society can do to prevent it.
