The stars are right, the seals are broken and ancient continents tremble beneath the waves. The tombs of old have been cracked open, unseen fingers rifle through pages of mouldy lore, the joyous dead march upon the cities, singing songs of exultation in forgotten tongues. The planets above whirl and laugh at our folly and fate.

To celebrate, Plague Doctor has put together a Winter’s Feast to warm those rattling bones and light some Hell-fire under your dancing feet!

Plague Doctor are a 6-piece pre-apocalyptic, sci-fidelic party band from Melbourne, Australia, specializing in esoteric theatrics and dance floor mayhem.  Featuring ex and current members of The Brides of Christ, Howl at the Moon, Bortier Okoe, Ajak Kwai and Gnomes, the band draws on a rich background of eclectic styles and tastes - Talking Heads, The Who and Roxy Music have been heard muttered from the smiling lips of dazed punters at one time or another -  resulting in a unique sound all of their own.

In anticipation of their long-awaited album launch later in the year, Plague Doctor will be descending on the Bella Union with allies in tow.

Supports:

Joining them are party legends La Bastard, new kids on the block Trouble Peach, and local dream-weavers, Lubulwa.  This all-you-can-eat smorgasbord of sonic delight will be sure to help you shed your winter skin and gorge on party mayhem. The end is nigh, so treat yourself!

Picture Nancy Sinatra jamming with Dick Dale and the Gun Club at the best party of the year. Because that is precisely the type of exciting and eclectic mix of 50's rock ën roll, 60's surf, soul and 80's punk attitude that best describes the sound of four-piece La Bastard.
La Bastard is an intoxicating mix of sultry vocals, searing licks and unwavering energy make this one band not to be missed!

Trouble Peach is a new project featuring Dan, Bez and Cat formerly of the Toot Toot Toots/Twin Beasts. They are currently recording their debut album, a tribute to Neutral Milk Hotel sung in Spanish. The band will play a bunch of songs from this upcoming release along with a bunch of new original tunes

Lubulwa is a cinematic wall of sound dream pop featuring members of Immigrant Union, Strangers from Now On, Kodiak Galaxy and Radio Wonton.
