Event Duration: 120 minutes

Pecha Kucha Night was devised in Tokyo, Japan in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world (987 at the moment to be exact!), inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.

The Theme: Enough is Enough?

Should we be aiming for perfection, or for ‘good enough’?

While projects may begin with grand ambitions, it is often a more realistic and efficient process to clarify, prioritise, focus, and make decisions. But what makes the cut, and what happens to the ideas that are left behind?

In a design process where there is no clear finish line, where do you decide to stop?  When do you say ‘enough is enough’!
