3CR has always promoted and supported live independent Australian music as a core of its on air programming. Music Matters continues with this tradition. We put in the hours to watch and listen and then present to you highlights of Melbourne's amazing music scene every Friday at 12 noon on 3CR.

So in this 3CR's 40th year and to celebrate Music Matters third birthday, we ask you to join us in an extravaganza of radical music.

The line up will feature a selection of performers that have appeared on Music Matters including Masco Sound System, Rough River (Kate Skinner) and Rya Park.
