As part of the campaign for an Australian Republic we need to capture the imagination of the Australian people. Accordingly, we have come up with an idea of capturing people's imagination through music showcasing the most popular songs from around the world as a way to strengthen the republican spirit in Australia.
The goal is to campaign through the Labor Party for the creation of a Republic Earth Music Festival to be held on New Year's Eve at the MCG each year, with singers from different countries from around the world invited to perform.
